Jude and Michelle are EnGAYged! | Oak Glen, CA

Hi bestie! 🌲 Today, I'm ecstatic to whisk you away to the enchanting world of Oak Glen, where I had the pleasure of capturing the camp-inspired love story of Jude & Michelle. Buckle up for a journey through towering pines, cozy campfires, and a love that's as deep as the forest itself.

Summer Camp, Love, and a Picture-Perfect Engagement: Jude & Michelle's Tale

Imagine the scent of pine in the air, the crackling of a campfire, and two hearts entwined in love. I met Jude and Michelle at Stone Oak Manor in Oak Glen earlier this year, and my excitement soared when they chose me as their photographer for next June! Their engagement session, set against the backdrop of the very camp where they first met, was nothing short of magical.

Why a Queer Wedding Photographer Matters

1. Shared Connection: As a lifelong camper and LGBTQ+ individual, I instantly connected with Jude & Michelle's camp love story. Choosing a queer wedding photographer means sharing that unique connection and understanding the significance of LGBTQ+ experiences, creating a photography experience that resonates authentically.

2. Comfort and Authenticity: Queer wedding photographers bring a level of comfort and authenticity to the process. We understand that each love story is unique, and we're here to capture the nuances that make your relationship special. Jude & Michelle's camp engagement session is a testament to the comfort and genuine emotion that a queer photographer can bring to your session.

Behind the Lens: A Camp Love Story Unveiled

Jude & Michelle's love story unfolded under the towering pines, with laughter echoing through the woods. Their engagement session was a playful dance through the very camp where they first met, and every photo tells a tale of shared jokes, stolen glances, and the profound connection that blossomed at summer camp.

Countdown to June: A Venue as Unique as Their Love

As we eagerly await their wedding at Stone Oak Manor next June, I invite you to savor the magic of Jude & Michelle's camp engagement session. If you're part of the LGBTQ+ family and planning your own unique love story, consider the two-fold benefits of shared connection and genuine comfort that a queer wedding photographer can bring to your special day.

Closing Thoughts

Jude & Michelle's camp engagement session was a journey through love, laughter, and the serenity of the great outdoors. If you're ready to capture your own unique love story authentically, let's connect!

[Picture Love] Emily & Andrew Green | Montana Wedding

Emily and I met over a decade ago and when she asked me to photograph AND film her wedding in Montana, it was a done deal! I had never documented with both mediums for a wedding before, by myself no-less. It was a challenge but was so much fun. The bridal party was a hoot and so laid back. Other than the mosquitoes in the evening, I really enjoyed my time in Montana. Everyone was so welcoming and lovely. OH! It was a sunflower wedding, my favorite!

[Picture Love] Sarah & Shain Frazier 10.24.15

Sarah and I used to play Roller Derby together with the Orange County Roller Girls. Neither of us play anymore due to injury but it was fun while it lasted and I enjoyed practicing alongside Sarah and then competing against one another in a bout (game). When Sarah approached me about being her wedding photographer this Fall I was thrilled! We met up and she told me all about her grandparents home where she would be getting married in Pasadena and I was stoked to capture this special day for her and her soon-to-be-husband Shain. The home was a gem with a gorgeous backyard that was perfect for a small wedding ceremony and reception. Please enjoy these photos that Amy and I photographed.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I hope to meet you in front of my camera soon!

[Picture Love] Jon & Amanda Russell 9.26.15

I am thankful for family who support and believe in my art. Amanda is one of my cousin's best friends. Amanda booked my services early this summer and it was a client/photographer match! Her and Jon were a joy to work with and their bridal party was a blast! They are one big loving family and it made for a great wedding. Unfortunately Amanda got a massive migraine after the toasts and was unable to enjoy all of the evening's festivities but when she felt better, she came out for the last song of the night. Everyone was moved by the First Dance. It was really quite special. I hope you enjoy these highlights from their wedding.

[Picture LOVE] Mr. & Mrs. Jewel!

Oh boy where do I begin? Well I suppose, the beginning!

Rob and I have been part of the same church family for over 3 years and he's a solid guy. He and Renee met at our church and started dating in November 2012. Fast forward to this past winter when I joined a Lifegroup that Renee was leading. Renee is such a wonderful gal and I enjoyed getting to know her in Lifegroup. Renee and Rob approached me one Sunday before service was going to begin and asked about my wedding photography services.

Rob & Renee are a great couple. Their joy is contagious and their Love for each other exudes from their very being. You'll get a glimpse of this in the photos below. I am honored to be part of their day and to use my gift Photography to capture the memories forever. It was a joy to shoot along side Amy, our new team member. I look forward to working together more in the future!

Hooray!! Brian and Emily are married!!

It was such a pleasure to go on this journey with these two. One of Emily's bridesmaids referred me to them to be their wedding photographer and we went from a consultation, to an engagement session, to their wedding day and I am so pleased with how the photographs turned out. It was a fantastic fun filled day. Amy Beth joined me again at this wedding and it was awesome!
